Clean & Maintain Your Bike

A clean bike is not only a fast bike but also a bike that will last much much longer.
The components will not wear out as fast and that results in saving money in the long run.
But how do you clean your bike?
How do you lube a chain?
What do you do when it rains and your bike is now soaked?
This page will answer all that and more!

Cleaning & Lubing Your Bike Chain

A clean and properly lubed bike chain not only lasts longer but will shift a lot better, sound a lot better, shift smoother, shift/operate quieter and your bike will perform a lot better.  Did you know a properly maintained bike chain also means your bike cassette will last a lot longer?

Why a bike specific degreaser? A dish detergent could be used as well when mixed with water, but bike degreasers are formulated to work well to clean and dry your chain fast before applying chain lube.

Pumping Up Your Tires

Always check and inflate your tires before every ride!  Your recommended PSI is on the side of your tire sidewall.  If you are running tubeless tires (TLR) the same approach goes towards pumping them up.  We will get up info how to maintain your tubeless setup soon!

How to Wash Your Bike

Bike specific products are highly recommended over a dish detergent mixed with water.  This is because bike specific products are formulated very well to work very well with bike cleaning.
